5-Step Rodent Treatment

  1. Prevention. Stop rodents from entering your home by checking its physical condition including the inside and outside of the building for gaps, cracks and crevices.
  2. Good sanitation. Good hygiene and food storage practices such as cleaning up your home and getting rid of unwanted food are helpful in reducing problems with rodents.
  3. Inspection. Inspect the premises thoroughly to determine signs of infestation, followed by the proper treatment and application methods.
  4. Physical control. As rodents tend to accumulate food in their nests, it is necessary to follow any trail and trap them when they appear to scavenge for food.
  5. Rodenticides: These are pesticides designed to kill rodents and are sufficiently lethal that the first dose is enough to kill them and reduce their population dramatically.
